Dental Exams

A regular exam is the quietest, kindest thing you can do for your smile — small things caught early are easy to take care of, and that keeps dentistry simple and affordable for your whole family. Here at All About Smiles in Rogers, we take our time with every exam: we walk you through what we find, explain what it means in plain language, and let you decide what happens next. No rushing, no judgment — just honest care from people who are genuinely glad you came in.

What to expect.

  1. We start with you

We take a few minutes to go over your health history, ask about anything that has changed, and listen to any concerns you have been carrying around.

  2. A gentle, thorough look

We check your teeth, gums, bite, and soft tissues — including a quick, comfortable oral cancer screening that takes just a moment.

  3. X-rays only when they help

If we need a closer look at something, we take low-radiation digital X-rays and pull them up on the screen so you can see exactly what we see.

  4. Your findings, in plain language

We walk you through everything we found, explain what it means, and lay out your options clearly — no jargon, no pressure, just a calm conversation about where things stand.

Have questions about Dental Exams?

How often does my family need dental exams?
For most people, every six months works well — but we will recommend a schedule that makes sense for each person, whether that is a toddler coming in for the first time or a grandparent keeping things on track.
Are digital X-rays safe for kids and adults?
Yes. Digital X-rays use a very small amount of radiation — much less than older film X-rays. We only take them when they will genuinely help us understand what is going on.
Will the exam be uncomfortable?
An exam is gentle and non-invasive. If anything ever feels uncomfortable, just let us know and we will pause — you are always in control.
What happens if you find something that needs attention?
We will show you exactly what we found, explain why it matters, and talk through your options together. There is no pressure — you make the call, and we make sure you have everything you need to feel confident about it.
What will an exam cost?
Every smile is a little different, so the best thing to do is let us check your insurance first and then put together a clear, itemized estimate before any treatment begins — no surprises. If cost is a worry, please tell us. We are happy to talk through options and payment plans together.

It’s a pleasure to care for you.
