DreamCRM connects to your practice-management system — Open Dental, Dentrix, Eaglesoft, and most others — through one bridge, always via official, sanctioned paths: we never write into your database behind your PMS’s back. Connecting is a short server install we do together, at no cost to your practice.
- 1Reach Support (Settings → Feedback) and we’ll schedule the install — your machine, your IT’s, or a quick remote session.
- 2The bridge installs on the server that runs your PMS; the whole visit is usually under half an hour.
- 3The first sync runs on its own. Patients, appointments, providers, insurance, and family links come in; the sync page shows exactly what reads and writes.
- 4With write-back on: bookings made on your site or portal push into your PMS and cancellations clear the slot there too.
What never syncs
Charts, procedures, claims, prescriptions, imaging. Clinical records stay in your PMS — by design, not limitation. Sync health is monitored; if syncs stall or fail repeatedly you get a banner on your Overview, not silence.
