Households don’t want a login per person. With family access on (Settings → Patient portal), one passwordless login manages everyone linked to it — the parent confirms the kids’ visits, fills their forms, and sees their balances from one place.
- 1A patient requests to link a family member from inside their portal message thread; you approve it.
- 2Once linked, the portal shows a person-switcher — every action (reschedule, forms, payment) applies to the selected family member.
- 3Household appointment reminders consolidate: one email per household per day instead of four.
